Zombie was Phenomenal - Manson was Sad
I drove 5+ hours with my friends to see the show, and we have been excited about it for months. The first band didn't perform for unknown reasons. Social Distortion was phenomenal; he was a masterpiece. Manson came on stage and tried to get through about 4 songs before dropping the mic and collapsing, then leaving the stage never to return. He tried to engage the crowd and be sympathetic about Manson, saying he had heat poisoning. I am disappointed in Manson or the world because he obviously has some sort of terrible problem, but no one is there to shake him up and force him to seek help. I am a Zombie LOVER, and I was there to see Zombie rock it out. I'd go to the show again (Zombie and Manson) if given the chance, but I will never attend a Manson headlining show again. I would gladly attend a Zombie-only show in a heartbeat. If I had gone just to see Manson, I would probably demand some sort of refund.
